String theory has been the subject of a lot of debate in recent times. If I understand correctly, string theory postulates that everything is made out of tiny strings. I may be a dog, but how in the world is this possible? I couldn’t see any strings in this computer monitor, no matter how hard I squinted at it. No wonder string theory is turning out to be a scientific dead end.
What I would like to know is this: what is the best way of unraveling a ball of string that has become tangled? That would be my idea of good scientific research.
